AutoCoast Insurance Service will provide a variety of insurance products and services to the Hispanic consumer.
We will offer our customers low cost insurance in geographically convenient locations to maintain superb customer service. Building a co-op relationship and making employment at AutoCoast Insurance Service challenging, financially rewarding and enjoyable.
 
  Target Market
 

AutoCoast Insurance Service will focus advertising and staffing with the Hispanic market. The co-op offices
will be strategically opened in Demographically Hispanic areas with a large amount of foot traffic to attain walk-in business, and allow are customers to conveniently locate an office. AutoCoast Insurance name will be branded into the Hispanic Communities by participating in community, local events, print ads, and Hispanic Media.

 
  Operating Plan
 

AutoCoast Insurance service will target the Hispanic market with low cost Insurance products and strategically set up co-op offices in high traffic Hispanic communities.
The key to promoting a successful brokerage is to keep operating expenses to a minimum, which will allow AutoCoast to have a competitive pay structure for it's employees. Our partnership with a marketing and advertising company will enable us to cut production and advertising costs, the marketing company specializes in the Hispanic advertising arena and is responsible for generating business for some of the largest brokerages in California. AutoCoast Insurance will set up a co-op relationship with a California based company that caters to the Hispanic community, which will help minimize operating costs. Ameri- Coast will draw up an agreement with the co-op company to benefit both parties’ involved.
Products and quality control-Carrier appointments have been attained; designated carriers will be utilized strategically to maintain quality control and low loss ratios. Underwriting and customer service will maintain clean, profitable business and satisfied customers.
The majority of the Hispanic clientele use cash for all transactions, therefore we will offer are customers an opportunity to set up an account with Account Now.
Account Now is a pre-paid card that is used for down payments and monthly payments, and pays a fee to AutoCoast Insurance for every customer signed up.
Office and equipment-Corporate office will be located in Orange County and house underwriting, customer service, accounting, and executive staff. All offices will be set up the same using FSC Rater, Record Guardian, and Call 8 to monitor all incoming calls and manage our book of business. Corporate office will monitor incoming calls to maintain quality customer service and high closing ratios. Each office will staff 1 to 6 bi-lingual agents based on volume written, the larger offices will have a customer service representative.
Bound applications are submitted to corporate immediately for quality control, and each office is responsible

  Marketing
 

AutoCoast Insurance will be broken into three marketing divisions to maximize company growth. Each division will have its own dynamic marketing plan; the divisions are as follows, 1) Hispanic Market, 2) The General Market, 3) The Auto Dealer Division. Marketing is defined by teamwork, quality, and excellence.
The Insurance industry shows policyholders go to their phones and branch offices to take care of their needs.
Success is based on experienced agents promoting integrity through respect and product knowledge. Integrity spans all boundaries, including honesty and customer service, which serves to long-term relationships.
Studies show 90% of the public forms their perception of a company based on experience, 60% of the public will terminate their relationship with a company based on a bad experience. AutoCoast Insurance will staff the high volume offices with an experienced customer service representative to maintain the retention of there products. Good quality assurance team within a company helps ensure that agents meet our client’s goals and standards. AutoCoast reputation will focus on professionalism and customer satisfaction built with integrity and strong work ethic.

 
  Advertising
 
AutoCoast Insurance will focus on the Hispanic Marketing when advertising as the cost per call and closing
ratios are much higher then the general market.
The industry standard closing ratio per call is 40% on the Hispanic Market as to 28% in The General Market.
The cost per lead is a 1/3 the cost in the Hispanic Market as compared to the General market, as the profits increase the money spent on advertising will increase.
The Marketing and advertising partner will be responsible for production and delivery of all media ads. Advertising budget will start at $25 k a month and will gradually increase as profits and staff increases.
Advertising has to be closely monitored, which will allow us to spend money on the spots with the highest return. The Hispanic advertising campaign has the highest rate of return and branding the company name at lowest costs compared to the General market. The Hispanic insurance market is most effective when strategically opening offices in demographically high Hispanic communities. The Hispanic population boomed 61% between 1990 and 2003 – exploding from 21.9 million to 35.3 million – making it the fastest-growing group in America. It is projected that the Hispanic population will triple in size, reaching 24% of the total U.S. population. The Hispanic Advertising has been growing at an average rate of 17% per year over the
past 5 years.
 
  Keys to success
 
Quality control and real time underwriting will minimize loss ratios and increase retention.
Maintaining a good pay structure and benefits to avoid company turnover and maintain company profits and
growth.
Deliver much greater value than “normal” businesses in the insurance industry. Focus on image attitude, price and product/service.
Keep updated and know about the competition but do not “compete” in traditional ways of the industry. Monitor the competitors sometimes steal good ideas but do not waste time trying to compete with the mediocre.
